On February 8, 2006, a viga case developed at about 12:30 UTC. About 30 minutes later, at 13 UTC, rain touched the ground but turned back into virga about 3.5 hours later, or about 16:30 UTC. However, no rain was recorded, despite radar readings. Below are the dBZ and doppler velocity radar images and graphs of statistics during and around the storm. Blue highlighted areas on the graphs indicate the time of the storm. All images link to a larger image.
