On February 12, 2006, a virga case developed at about 8 UTC. About 1 hour later, at 9 UTC, rain touched the ground but quickly turned back into virga. However, no rain was recorded, despite radar readings. Below are the dBZ and doppler velocity radar images and graphs of statistics during and around the storm. Blue highlighted areas on the graphs indicate the time of the storm. All images link to a larger image.
