On January 26, 2008, a scattered virga case developed at about 3 UTC. Precipitation never seemed to really reached the ground, although the dry layer became shallower as the relative humidity rose. The temperature remained below freezing throughout the storm. Below are the dBZ and doppler velocity radar images and graphs of statistics during and around the storm. Blue highlighted areas on the graphs indicate the time of the storm. All images link to a larger image.
