On January 13, 2008, a virga case developed at about 13 UTC. About 7.5 hours later, rain reached the ground as the relative humidity rose. However, the relative humidity started falling again about 2 hours later and continued to fall for the next 6 hours in which there was little or no precipitation. At about 4 UTC, snow started falling as temperatures dropped below freezing. The storm dropped 0.6 inches (1.5 cm) of snowfall. The snow-water equivalent was 0.04 inches (0.1 cm). Below are the dBZ and doppler velocity radar images and graphs of statistics during and around the storm. On the graphs, data is missing from 16 UTC to 20 UTC on the 10th. This was probably due to insufficient power issues. Blue highlighted areas on the graphs indicate the time of the storm. All images link to a larger image.
