On February 24, 2008, a virga case developed at about 15 UTC. About 5.5 hours later, rain / freezing rain reached the ground. The temperature remained between 0°C and 2°C throughout most the storm. Below are the dBZ and doppler velocity radar images and graphs of statistics during and around the storm. Blue highlighted areas on the graphs indicate the time of the storm.
