On February 20, 2008, a virga case developed at about 1:30 UTC. Less than 1 hour later, rain reached the ground. Below are the dBZ and doppler velocity radar images and graphs of statistics during and around the storm. There seemed to be a malfunction in the instrument measuring wind speed on the 14th from 0 UTC to 12 UTC. Blue highlighted areas on the graphs indicate the time of the storm. Also, there are graphs of the storm with its corresponding radar image. All images link to a larger image.
