On February 2, 2009, a virga case developed at about 17 UTC. About 1 hours later, at 18 UTC, snow touched the ground as temperatures dropped below freezing and continued to about 23 UTC, after which the snow turned to virga again. The storm dropped 1.1 inches (2.8 cm) of snowfall. The snow-water equivalent was 0.12 inches (0.30 cm).
