At North Carolina State University, I teach Introduction to Atmospheric Sciences (MEA 215), and Introduction to Meteorological Remote Sensing (MEA 511). I also co-teach with Dr. Matthew Parker graduate courses in Atmospheric Convection (MEA 714) and the Dynamics of Mesoscale Precipitation Systems (MEA 715).
I use research-validated reformed teaching practices extensively in my undergraduate and graduate classes including clearly stated learning objectives, active learning exercises, and peer-learning. I continuously adapt and refine emerging best practices to enhance student learning in my courses.
